These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Twinkle Tale website and services, including the ordering, creation, delivery, and permitted use of personalized storybooks (digital PDF/e‑books and printed copies). By accessing the site, uploading personalization material, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Twinkle Tale operates from Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, India. All references to “we”, “us”, or “our” mean Twinkle Tale; “you” or “your” means the individual purchasing or using the services. A “Personalized Book” means any storybook (digital or printed) produced using data you supply (such as a child’s name or image). “Preview” or “Sample” means the draft or proof we send before finalizing production.

You must supply accurate, lawful, and non‑infringing personalization materials. You confirm you own or have permission to use every photo or name you upload. You must not upload abusive, obscene, defamatory, discriminatory, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate content. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order that breaches these standards or appears fraudulent.

Our personalization process currently accepts only the child’s name and photo. We generate a Preview within approximately 24–36 hours (business circumstances permitting) once complete and correct information is received. For printed copies, physical production and shipping typically require an additional 6–7 business days after you accept the Preview. These timelines are good‑faith estimates and not guarantees; delays caused by factors outside our control (e.g., carrier delays, system outages, force majeure events) do not constitute breach.

You receive one Preview. After receiving it, you have a single opportunity for one free correction if—and only if—you email the correction request within 12 hours of the Preview being sent. If we do not receive an email within that 12‑hour window, the Preview is deemed accepted “as is” and we proceed to finalization. Incorrect data you supplied (spelling errors, wrong photo, etc.) that is not corrected within the 12‑hour window is your responsibility and does not qualify for refund.

Once a digital e‑book Preview is accepted (explicitly or by lapse of the 12‑hour correction window), the personalized digital product becomes non‑refundable except in the limited case of a confirmed duplicate charge or a technical failure that prevents delivery and cannot be remedied. After acceptance of the digital Preview, the related printed book order also becomes non‑refundable. However, if a printed book arrives with clear manufacturing damage or misprint that materially affects legibility or quality, you must notify us via email with photos within 7 days of delivery; upon verification we will (at our option) arrange a reprint/replacement. We are not responsible for damage arising after delivery, minor color variations, or slight differences inherent to print and AI generation.

All intellectual property in the site, templates, layouts, artwork styles, AI prompts, models, software, and any non‑customer content remains exclusively ours. Upon delivery, you receive a personal, non‑transferable, non‑exclusive, revocable license to use and display the Personalized Book for private, non‑commercial purposes, including printing extra copies for your immediate family. You may not sell, license, distribute commercially, reverse engineer, extract assets, or create derivative products for commercial exploitation. We do not supply editable source files (e.g., layered design files) under any circumstance.

You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty‑free license to use the uploaded name and photo solely to create the Personalized Book and generate the Preview. Non‑identifiable generated images (those that do not contain or reveal the child’s real face or name) may be reused for marketing or portfolio display unless you opt out by emailing a request at or before the time of acceptance of the Preview. We do not intentionally retain any personally identifying originals beyond the retention periods below.

We implement a strict minimal retention policy. All uploaded photos, personalization inputs, and generated files (including the finalized digital book) are deleted from active production systems within approximately 72 hours (3 days) after finalization, except for minimal transactional records (order ID, payment amount, timestamps) required for accounting and legal compliance. If you submit a deletion request earlier, we will prioritize that within the same timeframe. After deletion we cannot re‑issue the file; you are responsible for securely storing the delivered e‑book PDF you receive.

AI generation can cause minor visual or typographic variations between drafts, previews, screens, and printed outputs; such minor variations (color shifts, small alignment differences, slight style differences) are normal and not defects. Screens and print substrates render color differently; perceived variance does not constitute grounds for refund.

Prices are shown in INR. At present we are not separately charging or displaying GST; if taxation status changes we may update prices or display tax components accordingly. We accept UPI and major card payments via our chosen payment gateway(s). Personalization is included in the listed price unless explicitly stated otherwise. Orders are only processed after successful payment authorization. We may cancel or refuse an order before production and will provide a refund if payment was already captured (e.g., suspected fraud or policy breach).

Risk of loss for a printed Personalized Book passes to you upon confirmed delivery by the carrier. Title remains with us until full payment is received. If tracking indicates delivery and you claim non‑receipt, you must cooperate with carrier investigation; resolution may take additional time.

Your use of the site must comply with applicable laws. Purchasers must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction) and placing the order on behalf of the child whose details are provided. You agree not to attempt unauthorized access, interfere with site functionality, introduce malware, or scrape content.

Liability is limited. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our cumulative liability for any claim relating to any order or these Terms will not exceed the total amount you actually paid for that specific order. We disclaim all implied warranties to the extent permitted by law, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not provide educational, therapeutic, or medical advice; the content is entertainment only and should not replace professional guidance.

Force majeure events (including but not limited to natural disasters, fire, flood, epidemics, pandemics, labor disputes, transportation or utility failures, outages of hosting providers, governmental actions, and acts of God) suspend our performance obligations for their duration and for a reasonable recovery period thereafter.

A separate Privacy Policy (linked on the site) governs how we collect, use, and protect personal data. In the event of conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy regarding data handling, the Privacy Policy controls. Any personal data you provide must be accurate; misrepresentation may result in order refusal.

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will typically relate to service scope, pricing structure, or legal compliance adjustments. If you do not agree to an updated version, you must cease use of the site and services.

If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. No waiver of a right is effective unless in writing. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations without our prior written consent; we may assign as part of a restructuring, sale, or merger.

You may cancel and receive a full refund after receiving your Preview and before we begin full‑book production by emailing twinkletalestore@gmail.com (with your order ID and brief reason) within 12 hours of the Preview; refunds are issued to your original payment method within 2–4 business days. No refunds or cancellations are allowed once the final copy has been dispatched, except for manufacturing defects. If a technical failure prevents you from receiving your Preview or e‑book, notify us within 48 hours for a resend or refund.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Andhra Pradesh, India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the courts located in Andhra Pradesh, India for any dispute that is not resolved informally. Before commencing formal proceedings, you agree to first email us a concise written notice of the dispute and allow a reasonable period (up to 30 days) for an informal resolution attempt.
